Waiʻanae · West Oʻahu
A Waiʻanae ʻohana who have spent decades reading these waters. Safety-first, naturalist-led, and happiest when you are smiling on the way back to the harbor.
Dolphin Excursions was founded in 1998 by Victor Lozano, and we are still a small, owner-run West Oʻahu crew built around aloha and respect for the ocean. We have run trips out of Waiʻanae Boat Harbor since 1998, learning the moods of this coast season by season, day by day. That local knowledge is what helps us find wildlife and keep you comfortable while we do it.
Every trip is led by a naturalist, and our crew is lifeguard-certified, so you are in steady hands from the dock to the open water. We keep groups small, never more than 16 guests aboard our 34-foot rigid inflatable boat, because a smaller group means more space, more attention, and a calmer experience for the marine life we visit.
We treat the ocean as a place we are lucky to share, not a stage. We watch wildlife on its terms, give animals room, and tell you what we are seeing along the way. When you step off the boat, we hope you leave knowing this coast a little better than when you arrived.
ON BOARD
Every trip is naturalist-led and crewed by lifeguard-certified team members who know this coast well.

Founder, Owner & Captain
Victor founded Dolphin Excursions in 1998 and still captains trips today. He built the company around small groups, local knowledge, and ethical wildlife viewing on the Waiʻanae coast — the same way we run every excursion now.

Senior Captain & Marine Biologist
With the crew since 2004, Jenna captains the boat and leads the wildlife side of the trip — reading the ocean, finding the pods, and sharing the science behind what you are watching.

Operations Manager & Marine Biologist
Also with us since 2004, Lisa runs operations and is usually the one who answers your questions before you book. A marine biologist at heart, she keeps every day on the water organized and ethical.

Captain & Marine Biologist
Lex captains trips and brings a marine biologist's eye to every excursion, helping guests watch wildlife respectfully and understand the coast they are exploring.
Captain
A West Oʻahu waterman through and through, Flow reads the wind, swell, and tides to chart each day and keep the boat steady, safe, and in the right place at the right time.

Deck Crew & Snorkel Guides
Our deck crew get you comfortable in the water, fit your gear, look after the lunch and cold drinks, and keep the whole day easy and welcoming — patient with first-timers and non-swimmers alike.
