Slip into Oʻahu's clearest afternoon water
This is the relaxed way to explore the leeward reef. We head out from Waiʻanae on our fast, comfortable boat and visit two or more snorkel sites, choosing the calmest, clearest water on the day. Green sea turtles are the stars here — and we are so confident you will see them that if you do not, we will send you home with a return voucher to come back and try again.
Reef fish are everywhere, and on many afternoons we also encounter spotted eagle rays gliding over the sand. A naturalist guide is aboard the whole trip to help you read the reef and look after first-time snorkelers and confident swimmers alike — with a small group of no more than 15 guests, there is plenty of room in the water and plenty of attention from the crew.

- 1:30 PMCheck in at Waiʻanae Boat HarborMeet your crew, get fitted for snorkel gear, and hear the safety briefing before we cast off.
- 2:00 PMFirst snorkel siteAnchor over reef where green sea turtles and reef fish gather, with the crew close by in the water.
- 3:00 PMSecond snorkel siteMove to another spot for fresh reef, more turtles, and a chance at spotted eagle rays.
- 3:45 PMReturn to harborCruise back to Waiʻanae with cold drinks for the ride in.
